ポンペオ米国務長官は週末、 国家安全保障上のリスクがあると見なされる中国企業のソフトウエアを「幅広く」対象とする措置の発動を示唆し、米中間の緊張が高まった。
ニューヨーク商業取引所（ＮＹＭＥＸ）のウェスト・テキサス・インターミディエート（ＷＴＩ）９月限はシンガポール時間午前11時30分（日本時間午後０時30分） 時点で、0.6％安の１バレル＝40.03ドルで取引された。
